Job Description: The job holder is responsible for: - Review work packs for constructability. - Coordinating and supervising the construction activities, carried out by local and international contractors. - Raise Scopes of Works for Call Offs. - Ensure the construction activities are carried out to the highest HSE standards. - Assist in supervising, inspection and quality control of local contractors during construction. - Ensure Installations conform with all standards. - Actively developing the capabilities of the local and regional construction contractors with particular emphasis on HSE and Quality. - Raise Technical Queries where necessary. - Progress reporting. - Ensure contractors adhere to permit to work systems. - Ensure Materials are delivered in time to meet schedule. - Attend Progress and HSE meetings. - Coordinate the compilation of Handover documentation with Permitting authorities. - Liaise with Client on Handover and Commissioning activities. - Responsible for Finalising Handover packages. - Staff Responsibilities. - Monitoring Local staff in Mechanical discipline and Contractor personnel. - Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by following Company Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations.
Reporting Role: Construction Manager
Requirements: The job holder must have: - Must hold a High Standard qualification in Mechanical Discipline. - At least 15 years work experience in a supervisory capacity in Mechanical installation. - Experience on international site construction activities is essential. - Previous experience working in an International Company would be an advantage. - Good Knowledge of International standards. - Good understanding of HSE rules and regulations. - Good Communication skills. - Good competence in PC applications including MS Project - Fluent in English and Germay Language could be a plus. Duties and Responsibilities: To promote Field revisions of the detailed Construction Schedule. With the collaboration of the Site Project Control, to prepare detailed schedules and define priorities. To check that schedules are kept to and to promote recovery plans in case of delay. To co-ordinate all site activities, and in particular interfaces between Disciplines, with the aim of limiting work overlaps. To assist and co-operate with the Supervisors in the ordinary management of subcontracts, in defining extra-works and in the execution of changes during the works. Together with the Commissioning Manager, to ensure congruence between the completion of Construction and Plant Pre-commissioning.
